Hi, I’m Rance - a self-taught woodworker based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. My journey with woodworking began in 2019 when I built a set for a middle school theatre production my wife was directing. What started as a one-time project quickly became a passion, and before long, Red Rose Woodworking was born.

I’ve grown from working out of a corner in my parents’ basement to building in my own full workshop in my backyard. Over the years, my work has expanded from simple pet feeding stations to a wide range of home and garden pieces - from birdhouses and soap dishes to coffee bars, bookshelves, and fully custom projects designed for each client.

Beyond woodworking, I’m a husband, a proud dad, and the primary caregiver to my beautiful daughter, Autumn Wren. Our days are full of laughter, sawdust, and the occasional chaos from our dog, Archer, and cat, Dax. Balancing fatherhood and running a small business has been both the greatest challenge and the most rewarding experience of my life. Every piece I create is a reminder of why I started: to build a life rooted in creativity, care, and connection.​​​
